General paint code question

Hiya Folks.

Need some touch up paint for my motor. My paint code is 697 and its called grigio crono.
The stockist has a 697 - grey and a 697/a grey crono.
Any ideas anyone?

Update:

My paint stickers says 697 - Grigio Crono VR.
All searches for paint code 697 on the net turn up nothing, seems the paint code should be 697/A. So i've rung FIAT to clarify and they say my paint code is deffinitely 697 and not 697/A. Only fiat colour i can find linked to his code is an old white colour and my car is deffinately not white, its a silver grey which would match with the Grigio Crono.

But the thing is i've ordered touch up paint on the code 697/A and it seems way off the colour of my car when i've applied it.

Honestly stumped!! :bang:

Hey.

The paint codes are confusing. I'm Techno Grey - it's listed as 698 under the bonnet but everywhere lists it as 698/A - which is a colour match.

I just presumed the letter is incase they amend the colour code, becoming /B /C etc. But don't know.

Hiya fella.

Thats what I thought it was, but then i've just found on a Stilo brochure a 697 paint code called progressive grey so its gotten even more confusing! haha
