General Overpriced?

Been looking for a weekend for a wee while and came across this one:

Now I would reckon thats a bit pricey given the mileage but what do you guys think? The car has FSH, main dealer serviced too and it's in pretty good nick with red and blue keys and timing belt changed.

It's proberly a fair price since it's out a garage. Would be pricey as a private sale.

Just take £1K in cash and try your luck.

Spoke to the owner just now and he agreed to sell it for £1000............... with no MOT Doubt I'll get him to shift much on the price but I might take a test drive anyway.

I wouldn't touch it without a MOT. Obviously isn't confident it will pass or he would spend the £40 to make the car much easier to sell.

Oh yeah I wouldn't buy it with no MOT but he made the offer anyway. He said he couldn't give me a price for cash till he MOT's it just in case it's a costly one. He did say he knows the car well since he sold it and has done every service as well as knowing the owners and it's been very well maintaned with every thing being done that needs doing early, hence he reckons it's a fair price.

Well I took a test drive today and was very impressed, for a car with that mileage the gearbox was lovely and it accelerated very nicely indeed. The dealer is putting it through it's MOT on monday and we might work a deal depending on what it cost's him.

It's a 1.8 ELX Weekend, I'll hopefully get it cleaned and photographed this weekend.
