My temperature gauge in the middle of the dash (not the engine temperature, the other one) is fluctuating from 11 degrees C to 21 degrees C, when I know it's sub-zero outside. Don't know if this will affect the running of the space heater or not (manual says that should kick in at 10 degrees or less) but apart from that it is a bit annoying. Does anyone know where the sensor is for the outside temperature?

My sensor is in the passenger mirror 04 plate mk2. I dont think it will effect the heater underneath the car. Simple to replace but search the threads about removing the mirror backpanel without breaking the clips.
