Hello everyone,
Me and my mates will be usingf this account, i own a nova, my mate a punto mk2, my other mate a mk6 escort, few others nova and mk5 fiesta.
We have bought a fiat uno for £40 and its gonna be our project car.
Its on a G-plate in black, i take it this a phase 2 one? Its got Formula Imagination written down the side.
We have already slammed it to the deck, and have got som 15" beemer wheels for it.
Our future plans are a 1.4 turbo ie lump, custom widearches and and a mental rollcage and interior.
At the moment were stuck on putting Nova GTE seats into the car, we tore out the old seats ruining the subframes, and so we're probably most likely going to end up welidng to bars across the car and welding the rear of the seats to that.
The exhaust system will be a straight through pipe from the manifold back leading into a centre exit twin 4" pipes.
Were gonna flush the tailgate, guess like a nova, welding a plate is the best way to do it?
Any hints tips from you guys wud be appreciated coz none of us have ever worked on an uno before!
Cheers Paul and Luke
