Ok... o2 are offering o2 max: £75 line rental (not sure if it includes VAT) 1000 cross network minutes and 50 free text messages a month. The minutes you dont use up are then added over to the following month. If those minutes are not used up in that month then you will lose them. So basically you can only have minutes rolled over from the previous month.

Orange will match the above offer on the OVP plan... but watch out for them sneeky buggers, as its £75 plus VAT on the line rental...

3 on the other hand £40 line rental (not sure if it includes VAT) 750 cross network minutes and 150 free text messages... The only problem with these guys is that they still haven't sorted out the migration between 2g (which all other operators run on e.g. orange, voda etc) and 3g. So sometimes when it switches from 3g to 2g (or vice-versa) and your on a call. Your call will cut off!! It can get really frustrating... Alot of people have said they have improved alot since they first launched.

Vodafone and T-Mobile... forgettabout it!! Some may disagree..

Hope this helps anyway..

wouldnt have touch anything but VODAFONE. best reception most reliable. and match all other offers. im getting 500 free texts and 200 any time mins a month 30 squid a month. NO 1 can get close to this deal. especially for the mobile i want aswell.

Well my brother, was offered 500 cross network minutes and 50 free texts on Orange (he has been with them for 4 years though!!) I think its a promotion for valued customers...

Smee, that sounds like a rubbish deal! but i think it must just be because of the phone you wanted!

I dont think i will need 1000mins! i want to spend about £40 a week....not a massive texter anymore since i got a nokia 7600 which is a bitch to text on! need mins throughout the day though!

Has anyone tried 3's pay as you go? it sound like a good idea if i get a £35 top up each month!

yeah mobile i wanted was the nokia 6260 flip fone. with all the added on extra. 500 squids worth of gear. but i went to fones for u to see it and i dont want it no more. bit of a brick. im a massive texter infact cant remember the last time i called some 1 on my fone (unless u count swaffham kebab house which is daily)

Sainsbury's I think do mobile phone tariffs which they then match in price to the cheapest alternative.

In town, Orange give pretty good reception but in the more rural areas, they are appalling...as are 3Pay. Vodafone and O2 give pretty good reception but My choice would be Vodafone. O2 have zip customer service as I and my dad can testify. My dad has used O2 through work and in total, to get 1 problem sorted out, spent 5 hours in queus and on hold whilst through to Customer service. Vodafone on the other hand has never given any problems and also has very good Reception. Theyre a bit more expensive than O2 but I will deifinitely be making the switch when my O2 contract is up in feb.

My 2c worth.

go into town, find a phone ya like and then get yaself a deal of the web, They will offer double what the shops will as they have no overheads,
Personally I would go for O2

Avoid 3 like the plauge, i had a customer services representative hang up on me because it was too noisy where i was when i phoned them, even though i said i was moving somewhere quiet, then when I lost my phone and called to block it and reduce the price plan, they blocked it first and went 'oh we can't reduce the plan on a blocked phone'!

orange customer services have always been perfect imho, can't wait to get back on there.

When i went 2 cancel my 02 contract they asked why and then offered a special deal they do over the phone.750 anytime mins for £30 a month.which aint to bad.bit pissed though cause i was payin £45 for 400 before.still cancelled the contract and gone onto orange which r doin the free evening mins when u take out a new contract at the mo.
