Just recently bought myself the above Walkman. Was thinking of sending it back as the volume just wasn't loud enough. Turns out it is an EU restriction (100db limit??) but you can unlock it. If you have one (or are thinking of buying one) see here: -

Works a treat and now it's great! Sound quality is superb. Whips the ipods ass!

Can't wait for my cables to come through now so I can try it in the car.

oh the Sony stuff is great.. bought as NET MD when they 1st came out.. fairly low down the range.. and now it's top of the range with a few button pressing

Sure is. Any tips on how to eliminate the breaks between tracks on mix albums? It's driving me nuts!!
