*OT* Anyone a GREENDAY Fan?

I had all but forgotten about them, relegating them to the gone and almost forgotten stack of my cd's, but I must just point out to those of you that were perhpas unawares; their new album is really excellent. Warning had some odd tracks on it and the odd one I liked, but every track on their latest release is quality. V impressed. 9/10

Last album I like this much (an all time favorite now) was All American Rejects

I have to agree with that, Its the best album theyve done in quite a while. Warning was ok but had some very strange stuff on it. Shenanigans was another odd one...you could tell taht it was greenday but it wasnt stereotypical of them (i prefer the stereotypical stuff!). The first album that I bought of theirs was superhits..its actually one of the few greatest hits albums thats all good. Im still gutted that I didnt get to see them at T in the park a few years ago...I saw them on tv from there and realised what id missed.

I think the Goldie Lookin' Chain's Greatest hits takes a lot of beating right now....

Windows down, pumping out such classics as "Roller Disco" & "Your Mother's Got A *****"

Failing that, The Kleptones new long player, "The Kleptones Invite You To A Night At The Hip Hopera" is fast becoming a classic

I saw them on the Warning tour. Cant remember where as I didn't drive there. They are really good live

I saw them back in 1988/89 when they 1st playd in this country. It was in GM Busmens Social Club in Wigan! There were 6 bands on in all from the USA and cost a total of £2.50 to get in!
