hey all, i bought a 1998 1.1 sporting about a month and a bit ago, i havent done much to it atm, i have given it a full service, put a new interior in it, as the drivers seat back was broken and the passenger seat was the wrong colour, i have also fitted a set of punto gt wheels, although im not sure if they are actually phase 3 or if they have been refurbed in anthracite, any opinions/ ideas on how its going, or possible next steps would be fabulous, thanks all =)

standard as bought:

So far so good, keep on top of the maintenance and it will look after you well.

Not sure about the wheels, they make it look 4X4 ish, a lower profial tyre and lowing would probably help.

Love the black and orange combo

i agree about the tyres, they are the ones they came with, 185/55/14 and 185/50/14 are rare and not many decent tyres for them, when they get low i am going to look for 50s and fall back on 55s as for lowering im not going there atm, it bottoms out with more than 1 person in =S i need smaller spacers so they fit within the arches properly, it handles amazingly now, going from 165 nankangs to 185 avons and pirelli's makes you appreciate good tyres lol.

i have got other pictures which dont look so 4x4 but i havent figured out how to delete other pictures ive uploaded lol, when i do ill upload them lol

thats the size tyre a PuntoGT has as standard.. There isn't really a lack of good tyres in 185/50 they just expensive.. ContiSportContacts or Yoko A539's is what i would recommend.. I'm imagine they are catching due to the tyres

fingers is correct they are 5.5j (ET 45.5), What size spacers are you running??
