Hello everyone, it is with great sadness that I have decided to offer my Panda 4x4 Sisley to the forum. I've only owned it for 8 weeks - unfortunately I bought it on eBay without telling anyone or thinking it through. My wife hates it and I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it...!
It's one owner plus me - and I picked it up from the original owner. It's one of the most original cars I've ever owned - acres of books and paperwork. Original accessories; seat covers hubs, sump guard, etc. Boot full of spares.

I paid £1201.

Where are you in York? I live probably close (Leeman road area) but haven't seen Panda in York for Years. I used to have Panda but needed family car and Panda had to go....now can't have two cars.

Unfortunately, on this particular part of the internet you are most likely to be advised to keep the car and sell your wife, but I couldn't possibly be a party to such comments.

I'm on Bootham in York. It's in amazing condition with 45000 on the clock. I drove it 100 miles home without fault and without stopping! It needs the wheels powder coating, passenger door perfect. Drivers door some minor rust. Passenger wing perfect. Drivers wing needs replacing.

Really? i have never had a 2x4 so do not know..

from what i have felt through driving other panda 2x4, i find the 4x4 drives better.. its a lot stiffer on the rear end heh.

Coming from the other side of things the stiffer rear suspension is taking some getting used to!

Diffinately not the best time of the year for salling Sisley by the look of the auction.

It wasn't the best of examples though and the mention of untreated rust would put folks off.

Still a bit early for people to be buying their winter hacks though?
