OK just to see who know their Uno stuff..

I have removed just about everything from my MK2 Uno Turbo and only found 4 star drive bolts..

I think they will be found on most if not all MK2’s.

I’m not sure about MK1’s as my sleeper (45 s originally) has the second location blanked off. Is possible that higher spec MK1s also utilised star drive bolts.

Anyone else know where they are?

Ooooh... Tricky!

I've never seen a Torx (star-drive) bolt on an Uno. Then again, I've only had one Mk2 Uno and I didn't strip it out - jjhepburn did, so maybe he knows!

I imagine it may be something to do with the tailgate latch - am I close? You said 'four' so maybe it's the tailgate hinges... there we go, no more guesses

The only torx style bolts I remember seeing on a mk2 Uno were holding the instrument pod in place. The Momo steering wheel was held onto the boss by Allen bolts if I remember rightly though they may also have been torx bolts.

Don't recall ever seeing any on a mk1!

Nah nothing to do with the tail gate..

Chas, good guess but no the pod and steering wheel are held on by alan bolts too.

I had never seen them on any Uno till Sunday - hence one of the last things I removed (shell is now ready for the crusher ).

Any more Guesses? Dunc you really should know!!!
