What is a handbrake quadrant ? Just had one replaced on my g/f's Seicento Sporting. The handbrake was very slack beforehand and we knew something needed doing. The MOT picked up that the parking brake wasn't working on one side.

Makes the handbrake cable go around corners OR is the bit on the handbrake lever itself that pulls on the cable.
