Very simply, I need to find a quick and easy way of listing every file within a certain directory/subdirectory. Is this possible?

I'm ripping all my cds to mp3 for work purposes, so some kind of big list of what I have on the system (in paper form) could be handy!

Basically, I need a list of artist > album > song (the way their saved on the drive) Word / Notepad would be fine.

Cheers,
Martyn

If you have them in folders based on Artist - Album - Songs at the moment you can do it in dos? wouldn't look pretty but it would show you what you needed to know?

You could always list the files, from explorer, and just use the very under-rated screen print button on your keyboard, Paste said print into 'paint' and print...............hey presto a few key stokes later, you have a full list on paper...

If you open 2 windows or more on the explorer (re-size them) you could list directory's and sub-directory's and still have them shown on the same screen print.

Just an Idea......don't shoot me down in my Prime..

P.S.....Ain't a nerd, Just Gifted and special
