Thought I should introduce myself, we live in Sicily at the end of the boot of Italy.
I have just bought a seicento as my wife does not like my car on the narrow Sicilian roads and the imaginative parking. I am not new to Fiats we had a 500 and which I worked on and stripped down virtually everything. We then had a 126 which was not as much fun, but served us well and like the 500 the spares very cheap (we could get the piston seals for brake cylinders for a few shillings, old money)
Now my hair has lost its colour and a bit thinner, my mind is still keen the do some of the major bits, but my body is not so keen, luckily the labour costs here are a lot cheaper.
I have been looking at this site for over a month to get ideas on what to look out for and recurring problems and find it a very friendly informative forum.
