There are two short oil pipes at the front of the engine, drivers side which are pretty corroded. Does anyone know where to source these at reasonable cost?

Also is there any sort of proper repair to the electric windows after much silicone spray and half a days work on them they are marginally quicker but only marginally!

I dont think silicon spray is ideal for the window mechanism. You need to use special lubrication paste, i think they call it greeze. This is best for duration and resistance. silicon as a matterial "eats" metal! be aware that if you use silicon on metal rust is sure to appear. Try loosening the top rubber on the door and also lubricate the cable that lifts the window in the door. the metal wire I mean.
Good luck.
