Hi all
Couple of questions
What’s the size of the oil pan bolts are they M6 and 1mm pitch

Also the bowed washers, so they go on with the curve towards the oil pan (crankcase) or away from the oil pan

Thanks

Perfect, thanks very much. I thought that was the size but wanted to double check. Thanks again
Maybe I have been wrong all these years, but I was always under the impression that the "Factory" sump-screw washers, which are bowed, are fitted with the serrated edge and the bow TOWARDS the screw head, which means that as the washers are effectively bowed OUTWARDS they become 'Spring' washers.

From memory, I'm not sure which side the serration is on, and from your observation, having them that way makes sense. But I'm sure that I've always done as @Kiltedboarder because that way round they really are acting as spring washers. I guess that either way will work if you get the gasketing and screw torque right. :)
