Oil leak Sump

Right people , i have a oil leak again ,,,

is there a oil seal were the crank attatches to the crankshaft pully or some sort of seal .. or could it be leaking from were my sump and block attatches , because soon as the Oil is warm i can have a puddle under my car with in 30 mins or so ...

There is a crankshaft oil seal that is behind the flywheel.

Ming clean it up and spinkly baby powder all roudn the engine to find the leak

From underneeth , were ive took that pic for u ming will post it up when i find my cable ...if you look towards the cam belt side u can loook up between the pully and the sump theres a little lip and i can see it starting to come down from there , , think ill have to investigate more while the sun is out , if it is the sump leaking , think ill get a new sump off egay and service my beast at the same time

yeh there is a large and small crank shaft seal. cant remember which side is whic h (think large is flywheel) but they can go and do need replacing.... pita to do in situ though

found out its the sump seal leaking . done a Quick fix today ..just waiting on some bits to come and it will be sorted ( hopefully)
