recently touched up my paintwork with a bit of leftover paint from having my wing mirror sprayed. let it dry and then with some very very fine wet and dry paper smoothed it off. the paint touch up isn't a perfect match, but that doesn't bother me greatly, the thing is where i've rubbed the paint with the wet 'n dry the original paint has come up bright and fresher looking and no swirl marks, this now contrasts greatly with the rest of the car and the surrounding paintwork.
do i now have to use a t cut or something over the entire car to get the car back to the bright white, or will a claybar be able to acheive similar results or will i have to gently wet and dry the entire car ( i guess not as that would be a very extreme option!)
i have ordered some bilt hamber clay, balm etc which should arrive next week so it'd be great if this solves it, but i feel doubtful as it'll probably need a more abrasive at a guess?
