Off Topic - Picture Editing software

I have stuck bodykits onto cars etc using the programs i already have but they lack the ability to change the colour of the whole car and all the added extras, Do any of you know a program that is good for this???

Photoshop is supposed to be one of the best, but i prefer Paint Shop Pro 7.

Fireworks by Micromedia is also very good but would recomend Photoshop to anyone
