General OE + BVH valve sizes?

Can anyone confirm what are the standard valve sizes for mk1 turbo (and 2's if the differ) and that of the common sizes used in big valve heads?

Have you looked on the guy croft website? i think there's a page on there about modded head with big valves. also look on ebay, there's a bloke selling a load of uno tuning bits (for a grand!) from Avanti and it may say on there what the valve sizes are on the modified head.

I've seen the Avanti add but it doesn't say, though i must admit i forgot about Guy Croft, i'll have a look!

36mm inlets, all turbos the same. You can fit 39mm inlets from a 1.6.

Ex are 33 or 31, cant remember exactly.

I'm toying with the idea of making a tubular manifold, and have read that the headers should be a similar size to the exhaust valves.

I might take a leap of faith and go for it.

Any advise welcome.
