Rob why are you fighting this with such a perdantic way!!
You were young once... I know wot i was like 6years ago.
I now see all the dangers... but there are those who will see some1 else do something and think.. "i can do that"
I wasn't condoning his activities or saying they were right... just pointing out that some people will see a car show on TV and belive this is how we may behave on the roads.
We are bombarded with.. how fast this car is everytime we watch a car show on TV... it's no wonder everyone is more interested in how fast their car is compaire to how safe or fuel ecconomy etc... area's which are more important to me now.
I'm hardly being pedantic. You're the one who claims to be growing up yet still make hand held 0-60 videos.
You inferred that because a TV presenter demonstrated a car's 0-60, then it must be ok and reasonable to expect everyoine else to do so. Therefore, if he drove the car off a cliff, one would, by your reckoning, expect people to start doing the same, no ?
These threads always end up the same way, falling into petty arguments that no one wins and no one remembers you for.
Yes, making your own in car videos isn't too clever. I did mine in a very similar place to Tommy by the sounds of it.
It's the berks who insist on doing 60+ through 30 limits that cause most of the problems for me. If people could bring themselves to obey the 30s, we probably wouldn't have 20 limits .... or maybe we wouldn't even need speed cameras.
