O/T - Latest Version of Windows Media Player

I've just downloaded it and is it just me, or has every one who has downloded it; had their MP3 file icons changed to a stupid blue and white musical symbol icon as opposed to the previous muliticoloured Media Player Icons?

Very irritating.

1E7 stayed for all of two minutes aswell.

Yup, that appears to be the default icon now. As for IE7, I installed it, puked and got rid. I've not heard a single good thing about it yet. I'll stick with Avant.

But WMP11 is quite nice, especially as it integrates nicely with my N73

IE7 aint too bad once you keep it for a couple of weeks.

I like how it displays all the artists albums in a kind of swirly pile, real eye candy

IE7 was removed sharply - it's awful.

Not fond of WMP11, 10 is quite good enough for my liking. I suppose it's because I'm old and don't like change...

WMP11 i like it but, now i cant select "all music" like i could before so i can listen to all of my music which is just over a days worth of music to listen too, as for my mp3`s i use winamp player it easier to use

FIAT BRAVO, why settle for anything less.

IE7 crashed about 3 times in the hour of trying it out, back to Firefox via opera now.

As for WMP11 looks nice but the song browsing isnt great, I'll stick with my Foobar2000

I found mp11 to be a BAD rip off of Itunes latest.

the album art browser looks the same, there is a choice of 3 different ways to view your tracks (same as itunes).

personally i think the sound is better from Media Player, but otherwise Itunes software kills it stone dead
