I really don't like that my number plates have 'Thanet Motor Company' slapped on them and would like to get new plates made up.

I don't want Halfords or any big name motor companies plastered on them either.

(Yes I am a number plate snob)

Does anyone know of an online place that could make up legal Euro plates without adding 'www.blahplates.com' on them?

TIA!

they all say u need them as a legal requirement but mine have Enkahnz on them from the body shop so mine dosnt look too bad. you can get the show plates without them or you could add your won name at the bottom but then again they arent legal but it would have to be a proper jobs worth to pull u for it

legally they have to have the makers name and post code, but as rcl stated you could get "show plates" made up ie just you reg,

Fiat Brava 1.2SX Formula
Fiat Brava 1.4s
Fiat Marea Weekend 2.0
i must buy another fiat :) may be a bravo?

mine have a silly logo at the bottom (i feel the need for speed) and the police have never said anything, and i've been pulled over alot, i'm sure not having anything on the bottom will have you told off lol, the police would have to be very sad for that

I suppose I could try Northgate Fiat in Canterbury or I may just end up using local car factors.

Hmm.

The legislation for postcoded plates came in in 2004 iirc. any car older than that will have no issues explaining away the lack of it.
i bought from joskes linked site ^ and they were good quality, reasonably priced and delivered on time.

I used GTGRAFIX too, they are spot on, i also had black and silver plates made by them too.

Cheers

I also used www.gtgrafix.com on recommendation by Joske - They arrived very promptly and exactly what I was after, even though they were on the slightly expensive side.

Another good review for gtgrafix just got my plates from them no name at the bottom and good delivery and £20 for the pair
