Well I have been snooping around here for a while (Dec 05) to be precise and I am only introducing myself now. Well I had been planning to buy a Fiat coupe and joining here was my first salvo in that direction and last week I did - buy a coop that is. its a 1996 2.0 16v with 89,000 miles on the clock. it drives perfectly but is having a major overhaul and paint job just to make it look right. This car has the usual red paint fade and stone chips on the bonnet.

Here are some pics taken on the day I bought it just around the corner from the sellers house. :)

My last Fiat's were two 128 3p's - a 1977 which I had for four years from 1980 to 1984 and this was followed by a 1979 128 3p SS which I had from 1984 to 1988.

Wow its been a while. I have long since disposed of my Fiat Coupe 16v and my present Coupe is this year 2000 20VT. I also got a neat 1988 Fiat Uno 60S with only 6,000 miles on the clock. Hopefully I will post more frequently on the forum now that I have discovered it again.

I am on the lookout for a nice Fiat 128 3p if anyone knows of one somewhere although Brexit has made buying UK classics into Ireland very expensive. Luckily I had amassed a nice stash of all my favourites (9 classics currently) before the curtain fell.

Nice, very nice…there’s no 128 3ps or Coupes anywhere to be found except a couple that keep reappearing for sale, one is pretty rotten and one is an LHD import with the 1100cc and you could probably import for a lot less than was being asked for it (£11K)…I know, I’ve been looking for one, or an early 3 door saloon. I’ve spread my wings to the EU, but have to wait until I’ve sold a few. Malta is always a good place to look as they were RHD
