Not as much new as a returnee

Hi I joined this site a few years ago when we owned a 1998 petrol Ulysse but after selling that and living with a few other ppl carriers we have returned to a Ulysse.
We left a deposit today on an x reg 16valve petrol and are picking it up tomorrow. We've p/x'd our Citroen Synergie for it.
The car looks good and straight andits anice colour a very deep grey.
Just a couple of things I was wondering though?
What are the torque figures for this engine?
The stereo needs a code, is this a DIY job?
Before I hand over anymore money is there anything I really should look out for?

Hi Nathan and welcome back to the Forum.

With regards to the radio code have a look here.

I assume that you haven't got a handbook for the car so you should visit the Ulysse section and click on the downloads icon at the top to download the handbook relevant to your vehicle.

I haven't checked but usually in the back part things like BHP and Torque will be listed. If yours isn't listed then I'm sure that you will quickly get an answer from the guys in there if you ask the question and they will also be able let you know what to look out for in respect of known problems/faults.

Having bought the car I found the radio code and torque details in one of the handbooks.
