Noob alert!

Hey all, I'm Fay and I'm a Noob here.
Just bought myself a 03 Fiat Punto 1.7 and I'm hoping to eventually modify this.
This will be my first modification so I expect I'll be here a lot asking really stupid questions!
So let's start off with my first stupid question...... When filling up at the petrol station it seems I cannot get a good seal as the pump keeps clicking off every few seconds. Have tried putting the hose in at different angles but still no luck.... Any tips on fixing this very irritating issue?

Welcome! Officially the HGT has a 1.8 engine

Regards the filling issue, it's a very common thing with Puntos, when filling mine I only put the nozzle in about 1/2 way with the hose pointing out to the back of the car. Even then it sometimes clicks off depending on where I'm filling (Asda usually works OK, Tesco is a nightmare, Sainsbury's usually OK, etc).

What modifications are you considering?

1.8 hey well that sounds a little less random I guess lol.
As for mods just now its probably going to be more cosmetic than performance, have to be the sensible mum unfortunately. First off though I'm actually looking for a new exhaust system as i'm blowing in multiple places, preferably as cheap as possible but hopefully something that can add a little grunt to satisfy the girl racer in me [emoji23]
