hello, thank you in advance for any help you guys can give. i have a 96ish 9 passanger van with a 4cyl fuel inj gasser in it. it quite running and will not start, i can get it to fire with a touch of starting fluid so i think it a fuel delivery prob. i can not hear the fuel pump running, the fuse is good and the collision fuel shut off has been checked this much i know. any wiring diagrams out there to help trouble shoot this thing. i have no scan tools only multi-meter (VOM) again thank you guys for any info

Is it not a mechanical pump same fuel pump is the older 205, 305, 309, 605, 405 if you need one. Theres only a sender in the tank?

not to sound like an idiot but the only thing i know is that it is white, a decato, and it dosen't start. it was given to me by someone leaving iraq it has been a great van, and i would like to keep it running for a little while longer if someone could tell me what it is by these numbers. thank you

Not familiar with that one, seems to be a car engine. The pertol ducatos here were worthless and scrapped or converted to diesel. Check for 12v at the pump, if you have that take off the fuel line from the pump, if you have fuel but low pressure check the filter in the tank. If filter looks ok probably the pump.

The tank pump is fiat part number: 7688480 but its about 300 quid not worth it.

Bosch numbers for the pump are:
0 580 453 979
0 580 314 064
0 580 314 078

Its a 3 bar pump you could probably bodge in any old 3 bar bosch lift pump and use an inline filter.

I had a fiat tempra that had the same problem. Couldn't hear the fuel pump running at all.
Initially I ran a live feed to the fuel pump in the tank, and used a manual switch to check it all worked. It did, and ran like that until I traced the problem to a relay in the fusebox.
