General No interior light switch

I was a bit disappointed when I went shopping last weekend in my 500 lounge. Got back to the car and it was dark, loaded the shopping into the boot and felt a bit peckish, so got a sandwich and thought I'd eat it before I set off.

What an embarassment to find that I couldn't figure out how to switch the interior light on so I had to eat my sandwiches with the door open !

Checked the handbook when I got back home but there's no mention of an on/off switch, so I'm assuming it only works when the door is open?

Is it just me or doesn't the lounge have an interior light switch?

Hahahaha. Very funny.TBH dont feel too imbarrassed. I have customers who come to me after months of use of their vans and ask how you turn the interior lights on in the back. Even though one of the lights has the traditional switch on the light they seem to miss is.Still a bit embarassing for you though ;-)
