Hi! Just got our car on Saturday. Impressed so far. Thinking of putting 17" wheels on it. Any advice?

I've got 16's on mine and it's fine but I think 17's on standard suspension would be pushing things a little too much.

Bigger wheels = more weight (unsprung weight to be technical) this affects ride and handling. My wife's is on 15's and even though it has narrower and higher profile tyres it rides and handles slightly better.

But hey so what mine looks better

A car on too big wheels is also slower and uses more fuel.

I have 16's and 14's, I love the 14's to drive on. As a compromise I'll get forged 15's one day.
