Hi I am a newbie so hope I am doing this correctly...but I need help...I have a 1.6 16v Stilo Active (52) 3dr I had the head gasket and some other work done at Christmas...came to check the oil just out of routine and noticed the end of the dipstick was missing.
so I contacted the garage who immediately had the car back...located the end of the dipstick in the sump!! thankfully no damage done...other than I now have a short dipstick....I have been quoted£37+Vat by my local dealer so I tried ebay...however it seems they are all different lengths is there anyone out there with the same model (yellow capped metal coiled dipstick) who would mind measuring theirs for me??? I anticipate from end to end it would be roughly 59.5cm including the yellow top ??
