Hey there everyone,

New to fiat forum and to fiat driving! Already having problems and have been reading some horror stories about fiats, please tell me if i've dropped a big, fat hairy b*****k.................
Have just bought a 51 plate punto 12.i and already the engine management light is coming on, usually when it feels like it when i start the engine. It's juddering and stuttering all over the place, can smell burning sometimes and other times, emission type smell and it's using loads of petrol and also the steering wheel whines when reversing in full lock.
Are these things "normal" or have i bought a dud? How easy are they to fix and do i need to keep hassling my car dealer?
Only had it a week and trying not to fall out with it....

Hi there, and merry christmas everyone!!! Had my punto looked at and they have decided to put my a new MAP sensor in. Can anyone tell me what this does as the mechanic didn't explain it to me!!!

I think if its under warranty then you should harass the dealer until they've fixed the problem(s). Afterall the warranty is part of the deal when you buy a (new) car, so take full advantage of it while you have it!
