Define sparkle please, are you saying when you put feed to the coil pack the engine was able to run? Or that you got a high tension spark from the end of the coil pack, if so I assume it uses a single HT lead to the distributor. If I was testing from scratch and the engine was cranking normally with the starter (not to freely as though a cam belt had broken) I would hold the HT lead coming from the coil pack roughly 5mm away from the engine metal while someone cranked it over to check for a spark (beware of spark if you have a weak heart) if no spark then I would check for with a multimeter for voltage at the coil pack, if that was OK and I am guessing now without seeing the car that there is more than two wires to the coil pack and so it uses a signal from a crank position sensor to tell the computer when to fire the coil. It could be the sensor or the coil pack, I have owned several Uno's but not in the last 15 years or so, hopefully some one will see your message and be better able to advise you.

Hi basically whats happening is that the car isn't giving any spark when i turn the key over.

I bypassed a wire to see if the coil pack was good and there is spark when i put the wire on the positive side of the battery,i used a coil pack off one of my buddies car and still cars didn't wanna turn over

This is my very first car and im willing to learn just looking for some advise love the Lil guy

Thanks for the advice sir

Just to confirm, when you turn the ignition key the engine spins over the same as it did before the fault but will not run? If so have you tried what I said about holding the high tension wire from the coil close to the metal of the engine, but you get no blue spark jumping from the wire to the metal of the engine? How many small wires are there in the plug on the coil, if there are three or more then I would expect to see an ignition module in the system that boosts the signal from a crank sensor to give it enough power to work the coil. It's a long time since I had a Uno and I was hoping someone with more recent knowledge would be able to advise you. Around the age of your car Ford Escorts and Fiestas had a similar system and the module I mentioned was attached to the distributor and often failed. You could ask on the technical part of the search forum specific to Uno for more advice.

Hi
When i turn over the ignition key the car just swings but doesn't crank over, there are 2 positive wires and 1 earth wire, see attached below

car was fine i went shopping with the wife and it was a rainy day ,thought my battery was bad and got a new one and when i put the new one in car didn't want to start.

Coil not problem then. When you say "the car just swings" when you turn the key can I have some more detail. As you say you thought it was the battery, so I assume from that if someone turned the key to try and start the car whilst you looked under the bonnet at the engine then you wouldn't see the alternator belt and pulleys going around? If that is the case I would look first at a starter or battery lead issue. Assuming they were OK but engine still not turning over whether it runs or not, the next thing would be to check if the engine is seized. With ignition off and key out for safety, car in neutral I would try to turn the engine over by the drive belts or it maybe easier to put a spanner on the crankshaft / bottom pulley bolt and see if the engine will physically / rotate in the correct direction at least two full revolutions of the pulley. Try all that and get back to me.
