Hey guys,

I've been a member for a while but not posted for ages.

I am back in the fold! I've just ordered a Panda Lounge TA with dualogic. It will be in Darkwave Black with the 381 interior (red and black with red dash surround). I've specced the Blue & Me with steering wheel controls and fold flat passenger seat.

So, what am I in for with regards economy?

I have been reading the posts on here of 1.2 vs TA and Panda vs 500 so I drove both today.

Unfortunately I loved the 500 styling but I have cervical spine spondylosis and looking out and under the roofline to see traffic lights was the reason I got rid of my MINI Clubman. I had the same issue in the 500. :bang:

Oh, and I have osteoarthritis in upper body and left ankle, thus the need for a dualogic.

Not bad for a 45 year old....ho hum...:(

So, Panda it was! Drove the TA Trekking as it was all they had in TA format. Loved the pull and the sound under hard acceleration! :D

I'm usually a fairly steady driver, do 90 mile round trip for work which is mainly A1/A46 so free flowing dual carriageway and I'm pretty good at road anticipation so no sudden breaking or sharp acceleration.

So, any ideas of what I can expect MPG-wise?

Anyway, great to be on here with you guys.

Really does seem very personal the MPG depending upon the exact journeys and how well behaved you can be. Won't be at its best until 10k+ miles though from what I've seen.

Second the above observations :)

If you can persuade the Dualogic to change up at < 3000RPM,
you'll keep it in its most economical regime (but will miss out on
its splendid soundtrack :( ) As it's not got a torque converter, it
should be reasonably efficient if driven sensibly (expect > 45MPG)

My Trekking TA has now done nearly 10000 miles and is averaging
a very satisfactory 55MPG :D (I do mostly long trips > 100 miles)

I hope your new Panda will exceed your expectations!
