Punto (Mk2/2b) Newbie Here needing any radio code help lol

Hi im Danny 22 I am learning to drive and I have absolutely no idea about cars but am hoping to learn lol. I have already bought my first car which happens to be a fiat punto 1.2 from 2001 which I am very happy with the issue I am having is my radio just says wait when it is turned on now my friend told me to put the code in but alas I do not have it and the only info I have that is on top of the radio itself is listed below so if someone doesn't mind helping out the newbie learn a quick lesson it would be very much appreciated so a thanks in advanced is sent to any who help. thanks for reading.

Hi Danny and WELCOME TO THE FORUM :wave:

You have posted the Blaupunkt and Fiat part numbers. We need the Serial Number, which will be BP and then 12 numbers. It should be stamped into the side or rear of the unit also.

Hey there thanks for responding the serial number that appears on the sticker at the side of the radio has been ripped off by former owner it seems or one before him so is there any other way of getting the serial number? or code? (will be making donation when I am paid tomorrow) thanks for all the help.
