Hi all, i'm Nathan, i'm 14 and just bought a Fiat Seicento on a 53 plate, 1 owner, fsh, all I could want for peanuts. I have another project aswell, which is my Ford Sierra XR4X4 i'm welding up, but its a fully kitted rally car and it's sentimental so its stayin with me :D And i'm very knowledgeable haha. Tomorrow I will get a project thread up. And also I have worked for the past 6 years to get these, so i'm very proud :)

Thanks all :D

haha, no, i meant I have been doing jobs since about then, and im 15 in a month aswell. I sold my ps3 and xbox to fund my projects

The plan is probably just a nice first car. If I made it a rally car (which is soo tempting) the insurance would probably cripple me. :(

Please dont take this the wrong way as its a compliment.......

GOOD ON YOU ! i see so many youngsters with no drive or get up and go.
The Xr 2.8 or 2.9 ?

Thanks :D I like doing productive things. And its the 2.9. The original engine was binned as the cam was worn, and the top end was poorly :(

First thing for this Sei though, a home respray, it's been keyed :(

Yep, thats the one. And cheers, just got to pick the colour now

Cheers for the welcomes everyone!

Simo101, any specific reason why? The car has previously been resprayed and someone tried blending the paint. It is a tragic fail. Although I understand your point safety wise. I'm willing to give it a try.

well safety is an issue but im thinking more of how g**h it will end up.. i work for a reputable car restoration company and i am based mainly on body work. We hacve so many cars that comee in where people have tried to do a home respray and its just ended up shi** mainly due to the fact the envoironment is too dusty and they dont have decent equipment room pressure is wrong etc etc... theres alot needs to be taken into account. i can give you a few pointers but i reccomend a proffesional do it.

He'd have to sell his action men to do that though ... just teasing.
14 eh, Christ, I didn't know one end of a Spanner from another at 14. I was furiously masturbating over Melissa Messenger.

Good on ya Kid, 14 and already sorting his first car whilst creating a rally monster. I admire that.

Ta.
