Been member for a while already as we had a Punto a few years back...but now we bought an RV that's built on a 2005 Maxi Ducato chassis.
Looking forward to spending time here, I'm going to work on the Ducato (Adriatic Coral Alcove btw) myself and keep it in good nick; the forum will be a great asset I'm sure.
As of now, no technical issues to tackle yet, but it seems the car is a bit heavy...3500kg max load and it's hitting that with empty water tanks and just 2 persons on board ...so currently reducing weight by removing stuff like one propane bottle and spare tire, swapping for a fiberglass propane tank, ditching everything I can, as I need to carry a family of four and avoid overload tickets. I suppose I can ditch the TV antenna too as we only use internet TV anyhow.
Well, we will see how it goes. Looking forward to being a part of the community!
Cheers,
Antti 'Dee' Heikkinen
