Hi everyone

got my punto 1.9 jtd 130bhp yesterday and gotta say its very nippy!!

traded in a gorgeous 10 plate white swift for it , but just wasnt justifying its mpg


One thing i wonder about which is random is can the windows go up when the cars locked??

Hiya Dee24, welcome to Th Fiat Forum, a Top place to be when owning a Fiat. Very helpful folks in here in the main. I too have a 1.9 MJet Grande Punto. Sadly the remote window winding isnt on the Grande, if yours is a 2007? If its grunt you want have a good re-map, see my Sig below... And I still get 47 - 51Mpg knocking around..Bostin cars...

I believe if you hold down the lock button on the remote control for more than 2 seconds, the windows should go up.

My 56 plate doesnt have this but the Stilo 1.2 we used to have did on an 03 plate. If GPs have it the function must be on newer models...

As for a re-map thats your choice Dee24, you might also consider a diesel tuning box as they can be put on / taken off whenever you want.

I chose a £200 re-map at Red Dot Racing who were in Watford but have now re-located. I live in Telford too, ask Haywood what a remapped GPS diesel goes like!
