hi everyone

i have just signed up to the forum and im looking at getting a coupe well i have a coupe just have to wait 2 weeks for her to be ready for me .....

i am wondering if you guys / gals have any advice orpics of nicely styled coupes as im aiming to make a showcar out of her even though they are very sexy looking standard im just looking to add to her sexual prowess and possible some engin mods / chroming etc so any pics / links / advice would be excelent

i have had a look round the forum and it looks very friendly and useful and i cant wait to start posting my coupe when she arrives ( she is a 20v 2.0L version )

does anyone know the spec of a standard 20v mph, mpg, bhp, etc etc

this will be the first time i have ever owned a fiat and im looking forward to it

cheers

chris

Hiya bud :)

Get your ass over to the fiat coupe forum

http://www.fccuk.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

Look on the "styling" section for lots of pics of differently styled coupe's, where to buy kits from, prices etc. My tuppence worth is: I reckon Chris Bangle (Now head of BMW styling) and Fiat got the styling right first time around, so messing with that just ruins the car.
I reckon the Le or Zender kit and possibly postert are the only kits that compliment the cars sleek lines. However if you want to do something different, go for it! it's your car hey.

Standard 20V stats, have a look at this great site, set up by a coupe owner:

http://www.askracing.co.uk/

has stats for quite a few cars including all fiat coupe's.

Off the top of my head though, 20V stats:

0-60 is around 8.5 seconds.

MPG is obviously dependant on your driving style ;) I would expect to see 30MPG when driven sensibly, dipping down significantly lower if you cane it. My coupe (the turbo version) does about 30 to the gallon if I keep off boost, but it can lower to around 12MPG hooning it

BHP of the N/A well there is two figures, the earlier NON Vis (Variable intake system) pumped out a respectable 147BHP, whereas the later VIS engine (the engine cover is plastic and has VIS wrote on it) has 155 BHP. However it doesn't feel as torquey lower down in the rev range.

You will love your coupe, they are very special cars, I love mine to pieces. One word of warning though, take your time and choose a good, well maintained one. They aren't cheap if you pick a wrong 'un (and even if you pick a good 'un there's still big bills) The N/A has less to go wrong but you can still get stung nonetheless.

Happy motoring (y)

On a 20V your tuning options are very limited. I can't think of much other than an air filter! Skirts and bumpers are the limit of what you should be tuning. Coupes with spoilers get ridiculed. Because they look rubbish. :p
You have a huge range of wheels available to you though, as the 20V isn't limited by the brakes like the 20V Turbo.
Sammi - your hybrid is a loooooong way off.....
