Hi,
I have hooked up to the site as my recently acquired 1995 Punto 55s has developed what seems to be quite a common clutch fault - judging by the other postings I have read.
The clutch pedal is quite stiff to depress and makes a binding noise at the bottom of the travel, and selecting first gear is particularly difficult and notchy. Reverse gear is very clunky/grinding on selection, but generally I can get the others with less hassle. It is on 71000 miles, and probably is in need of a new clutch? I haven't checked master/slave cylinders for leaks, as I seem to be reading a lot about this issue on the postings.
Q?is it possible to adjust the clutch, as you might with a clutch cable?
What is the most appropriate clutch fluid, and where precisely is it added?
Is there anything else I could or should be doing to identify the exact problem?
Thanks in advance,
Mark
