General New Uno in SA

Hi Everyone,

Thought that the Uno fans would be interested to see the new 1250cc Uno that has been launched in South Africa today. It is Brazilian built, unlike it's predecessor which was made in South Africa and has been out of production now for about four years. The new Uno can be had with electric windows, central locking, even air conditioning! Engine output is 50kw@5250 rpm and torque 111 Nm@2250 rpm. I've attached the Uno brochure for you that are interested. Price is around 5700 pounds.

Hi,
I'll contact them on Monday and ask what the price is. As it's a new model here and only just been launched there may not be major parts available yet but I'll find out and let you know.

It's a facelifted/modified MK2 only! Fiat's making a loot over uno !
Well it's nice to see that the brand name continues its journey through continents -

It's nothing to cheer for us,Indians ,as FIAT closed their shops here at India, and sold/subsideried their plants and the only live model, palio Stile, to TATA motors, the largest motor manufactures in India -

May be the'll be back in the future - as they did almost 10-12 yrs back!

Poor aftersales cannot be tolerated in a sensitive market like India, where almost all the giants are in tough competition ! Learn basics, FIAT !and come back again : with fantastic models!

my brother take pictures took pictures of same fiat in tunisia
(i don`t know how you wrote , but it`s coutry in north of africa)
and he told that it look awesome

my mate went there and saw them and grabbed a pic, i had a look and it was one of these, im not too keen on them personally!
