Punto (Mk2/2b) New to forum mk2 punto problem acceleration flatspot

Hi I have bought an mk2 punto which I have serviced and charged battery as it has been stood for a while.it starts and sounds great when ticking over but as soon as I put foot down it stutters and delays reving.its sending emissions readings all over the place in MOT test.need help please I have bought new ht leads to see if it helps at all.any advice will be really appreciated
