Hi guys :)

New to Fiats & LOVE Modified cars! In the past I had a maroon Mk4 Ford Fiesta 1.3, had Matt black bonnet, 12" sub, JVC head unit, induction kit, 5cm bonnet raisers & 14" alloys - let's face it, we all **** about with our first car :L (not sure how I kept that for a year!?) :bang:
Then tried dubbing it with a Mk4 VW Golf 1.6 SE which I ruined with a chavbox exhaust & stupid sub, I then realised it drank petrol like no tomorrow so that went after a harrrrd year :L

FINALLY, the good bit ;) around 2 months ago I got hold of a 2007 Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Active with 52k Miles, I can't see this car going soon! :L cheap insurance, verrrry Cheap to run/economical (especially consider my last two guzzlers) & yet still, it manages to give the 1.0 Litre Peter Corsa Clans a run for their money :D :slayer:

Mods are planned, they'll happen as & when funds allow :)

Hey, welcome to the forum. And welcome to the life of owning a Fiat.
Plenty of members on here to offer advice and opinions should you need it,
Sure we'd all like to see a picture of the new car,...
And watch it grow as the mods start coming.

Do recommend waiting a few months and just enjoy the car as it is. Gives you plenty of time to see what mods are out there... :)

Gps are getting popular now! Damn!
When i got mine last year, I went for 5 months before seeing another Exotica Red 5 door on the road!
Glad to hear you dumped the VW for something with a bit more pedigree ;)

And what's wrong with a VW....?
Have had a mk2 golf and still got a Polo 6n, ....
As much as I love my Fiat, I am a V-Dubber at heart...., :)

Welcome mate!

nice introduction - I had a corsa B before so I know that the 1.2 punto will certainly out do one of those anyday (although the 1.0 were quicker than the 1.2 :S)

When you can, get a 'members motors' thread up so we can see some pics :)

enjoy your car mate

Yeah I'm waiting a while, at the moment I've got no real NEED to mod it (bass is surprising for standard system - especially since I've hooked AUX input into standard headunit + it's nippy enough for now) but yeah, cheers :)

Nothing wrong with them mate :L I loved mine, 100bhp from a standard 1.6 was awesome! It just wanted 90quid to fill up & gave me 390miles to a tank, considering my college is 21miles away which I do there and back 3 times a week, then add on seeing my girlfriend, going out & work on top, it soon added up to crazy petrol spending at the end of each week :L

So guys, been an incredibly long time since ive updated.. Ive done a few mods, nothing drastic, but their effective for their purpose :)

But yeah, first picture is after an incident with a rather large deer occurred and I, near enough, replaced the entire front end.. Still a panel gap, but believe me, much better than the pre-repair stage!

Second picture is Hattie, just chilling next to Monster Energy drifter Buttsy Butlers' drift car .. Cheeky ;)

But yeah, I've moved up the world of technology and am now on Instagram so yeah, follow me on there samuelrode93 :) I'm much better at updating that than Facebook & Fiat Forum combined!

Cheerio, until next time :)

UPDATE

*Que fanfare*

Basically, my beloved Hattie (1.2 GP) got written off after many incidents involving deer, kerbs, a 'non-english' speaking man & me putting STUPID miles on it..

However, all is not lost! I have grabbed myself the bargain of the century, got myself a 2007 GP Multijet Sporting on 65k miles with 11 months MOT, FULL LEATHER, air conditioning, panoramic roof etc all for the grand total of.. £CHEAP ;)

But yeah, Will sort pictures as/when I can upload them as I'm currently without a laptop.. YAYYYY.

@ TheItalianStallion1 welcome to Fiat ownership.

I have a question about your first car........it had an interesting set of alloys looking at the first two pics?!?!?

They look like 15" to me, but an interesting design. Do you know where these are from or what they are called?

By any chance do you know who too your car after it was scrapped? Might be able to follow up and enquire about these if they are still about?

Hello mate, I still have the complete car on the driveway at my house. I've spent HOURS trying to find out what the wheels are/from & all I've found is, I've seen a BMW with a set identical in a different PCD & diameter but same design, you are correct though, they are 15" :)
