General New Sei - Few Questions

Picked up my new sei on saturday and it got off to a bad start. As soon as the insurance was sorted for me to drive home the pivoting bracket between the clutch cable and the rod connecting it to the pedal broke!

So sunday was spent swaping the bracket from my dead sei over, but this broke to - now i know the car worked as the bloke i brought it off took me out for a drive, but it has now munched to of these plasticy things, got the new ones on order so fingers crossed, just wandering if theres anything i should know when it comes to fitting them?

Also the key code light is on constantly on the dash, which whilst not major is a tad annoying, how do i get rid of this?

Nothing much to the plasticky things, but if they keep failing that -- like beaking clutch cables -- can point to the need for a new clutch.

For the code light, check the condition and connectors to the wierd braided cable under the driver side dash.

Thats not what i was wanting to hear, though was half expecting it.

I just want to take it out for a drive as ive had it since saturday and not drove it! And that is damn anoying!
