Hi ,
Have just joined the club and notice my username is very similar to other members, No way of knowing this untill you join and read members list. However hope it does not cause too much confusion with the other guys.
Right now for my info, I have had five Panders in years gone by and have returned to owning another one. She is a Jreg CLX, 37K with no bad rust and very very clean. So keen to preserve her I decided to give her a good Waxoyl treatment. Purchased a gallon of the stuff and spent the afternoon pumping the Waxoyl in all the cavitys, sills, door bottoms etc. Finished the job feeling quite pleased and must have used about half a gallon for good protection. Put her away for the night then next day off with the Missus on our weekly shopping trip. Parked up in car park near our store and went off shopping. On returning approaching my Panda in the car park I noticed some liquid running out from under the car, Thought must be the Rad or a pipe burst but when arriving close to her there were great puddles of molten wax everywhere. This uncanny hot wheather had for the past two hours heated the car up so much that it appears almost all of my hard work was now on the tarmac in the car park. Really embarrasing as people walked by staring at the mess. Managed to get some sand from a nearby bin and drove away smartish. Still cant beleive the amount that came out. The instructions said wait for a nice hot day so the wax will run easy. NOT TROPICAL. Be warned.

yike!

Sounds similar to my incident today, where newly laid roads (2-3 weeks ago now at a guess?) have gone to liquid tar on the roads  so much so i had to run out to clean car the second i got home

Welcome to the forum though :D
