Hi everyone, I've owned this 500 for 5 years, and its with much sadness that I'm giving it away to my daughter.
I bought it for my wife's 50th birthday, she loved it, white with red leather, a real head turner.
Unfortunately, she had cancer which has since spread from breast to bone, and more recently, her brain, and the oncologist insisted she surrendered her driving license, which to be honest, wasn't unexpected and she hardly driven the last year or so anyway.
Still a very sad moment!
I have just had all the shopping trolley dings and scratches sorted, replaced a damaged air on home and generally tidied up the carto as new for our daughter.
I've a slight problem, it has a very slight dip on the revs on tickover, probably about every 10 seconds, not enough to see the tachometer needle drop, but I can feel it .
Anyway I ask for assistance in the correct area of the forum

Sparkplugs. There was another thread on this just today - poss. you? Couple of answers there

Does it coincide with the aircon compressor clicking in and out. As the clutch on the aircon engages it saps a bit of engine power and can dip the revs for a second, not something you'd notice in normal driving.

Not the Air con, its as regular as every ten seconds, I know the slight hesitation when the air con kicks in.
