Hi All,

Just a quick hello from the newbie.

Currently got a
Fiat Scicento 1.1 Sporting 2000
that has just failed its MOT. Hoping for some help!!

It failed on, Steering Tight on Off side full lock, Garage diagnosed it as the PAS ECU or PAS Motor. And said it can only be fixed by a FIAT garage due to the new ECU needing to be programmed to the car?? are the talking rubbish, or can i buy a new ECU on Ebay, and plug it in myself??

Many Thanks
Josh

tis all lies. the ECU dosent need programming.. your problem is probably a torque sensor going.. this does mean changing the columm though. so buy the whole lot. from scrappy
