Hi all, new member to the forum.

I got a fiat 500 1.2 lounge, grey, subtle but seductive, luv it even with some niggles.

I already fixed a broken door handle. I'm going to be replacing the grounding wire leading from the area underneith the battery with a replacement part. Waiting for pay day for some penetrating fluid and then prey the bolt that holds the battery strap down, doesn't snap when i try to remove. Is a bit rusty.

I wasn't really a car guy, until i got the 500. Swear the Italiano vibe is rubbing off on me lol. But i am a bit of a wanna be grease monkey. Inspired by Chris Fix vids and other YTubers. Just want to keep Gandalf maintained and sweet. So am joining forums as I'll need much advise on fixing things and what to keep an eye on.

There is an unpleasant thunk sound coming from the front drivers side suspension area when i drive slow and go over a janky bit of road. I plan to check it out and see if i can maybe fix it myself to save moneys. I'll start a new thread for this when i get round to checking it.

Dead easy fix……as long as the nut isn’t threaded.
