Just thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Ben, I have just bought myself an 06 Grande Punto, 1.3D Multijet in Black.

Second car I have owned.

The engine management light was on so the dealership that I bought it from took it to my local Fiat, they are in the process of replacing the faulty turbo.

Can anyone recommend a few of the more stylish mods that I can make to my new car?

Would also like to make a few modifications under the hood like an induction kit and new filters, also babe a chip, do you have any recommendations?

Any help, much appreciated.

This is my new car, I will take some other pics once I have it back

Hey, welcome to the forum!

You have a nice base there for the start of some subtle, yet stylish changes. OEM+ is the best look in my book. Original, but with some added extra original. Being a black model getting some Abarth headlights and rear lights would really set this off. The chrome lights on the black model are just a bit 'in your face' i find, Abarths will set it off. The most important mod IMO for GP's is lowering. The most common/effective way is getting springs, Eibach Sportlines are the most commonly used (i do too). Just removes that unsightly arch gap which is seriously big. Maybe a change of alloy, to some original sporting ones, i'm a big fan of the twin fork ones, although the series 2 solid spokes are just as good (more popular).

Other possibilities include;
- Tint rear 3 windows
- Debadge front grill
- Debadge rear 'Punto'

Soooo many options. Depends what takes your fancy, and suits your taste. Have fun with it, and remember less is more (i think)

I agree that less is more.

Few things I am going to start with.

1. Team Dynamics Monza R 17" Matt Black Alloy Wheels. (http://www.topgear.co.uk/package/create?id=1RUxGo08YyvN4dVgg5sZsNkfXRrd6AQ0aGwrebV1q1A)
2. Lowered, but not too low.
3. Paint my front calipers and rear drums black.
4. 3 back windows tinted.
5. BMC CDA Induction Kit. (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMC-CDA-Induction-Kit-FIAT-GRANDE-PUNTO-1-3-Multijet-/271021146738)
6. Diesel Tuning Chip. (http://www.chipexpress.com/products/607/)
7. I like these headlights (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Gran...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d0d823bda)
8. I also like these rear lights (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-GRAN...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aa6bcb8f4)

Not 100% sure I want to change the lights though.

With regards to the de-badging, how do I do this or do I need to take it to a specialist?

Any help will be much appreciated. :)
