as soon as its fitted i will get a video up, should arrive tomorrow or friday according to Forge (y)
 
Came yesterday so decided to have a go at fitting it - basically they send you the BOV for the 500 and you have to bodge/modify it yourself to fit the GP with no instructions :confused:.

It comes with a block that sits underneath the MAP sensor with a hose takeoff to the main valve control for the BOV.
There is also a takeoff for the boost/vacum hose onto the manifold inlet and a hose from the valve control to the BOV itself. I had to drill out the mount for both the block underneath the MAP sensor and the main control block which plugs into the wires for the origonal re-circ valve. There are many spare parts left over for the 500 such as mounting plates that dont fit and spare hoses/clips. Revving the engine up standing it appears to work nicely and has a good tisshh sound, although on a test drive i couldnt really hear it working like i could the Baileys - although with the trumpet facing towards the nearside front wheel and on the other side of the car i might need to turn it 180 so it faces the drivers side of the car. I will mess around with it and give it a better test over the next week or so and report back with some pictures and an install guide
 
Have they only just released this ? I remember seeing this in person about 6 months ago as we tested on it on my mates car.
 
yeah a few weeks ago i think, i emailed them in october an they replied stating they did not offer a BOV for the GP at that time

Ha thats Forge for you, when my mate and the company were waiting for them to make it it took months before we saw it out of them.
 
does your mate still have it? could you/he get some pictures of how he has gone about fitting it

He does yeah, I will if I can get a pic for you. He did say over the phone this morning that he had to modify it to fit too.
 
by looks matey it doesnt sound to clever from what your saying, thought you get instructions for it ? or was that for the 500 aswell.
Stick with your baileys dump valve i had one on my tjet and that sounded good and no lights came up on the dash.
