Technical Nemo/Qubo ..Boot lid gathering water?

Hi all

Okay, the stilo finally went to the grave :-( Just one too many electrical issues. However I have acquired a Citroen Nemo, so I know, not a Fiat, but pretty close to the Qubo. So I thought I would ask you good people of the forum for a little help. (Mainly as this has also been the best forum on the net for such things!)
The nemo multispace seems to behave oddly in the rain. When you open the big tailgate water pours out from the sides. It seems to be running out from the top edge of the big piece of trim that runs across the boot lid just below the badge. Not sure if water is just sitting in the seam at the top of the trim or if it is more sinister. Has anyone else had this issue ? I was going to get busy with some clear sealant but thought I would ask first. Just in case.
No water in the boot it seems, just in the middle trim. (I think)

Never happened on my Qubo, but I can only guess water is getting in somewhere.......

Nemo owner here (for the moment).

I've never had that issue. I can open the tailgate even in heavy rain without water coming in. So, yours obviously has some kind of knackered seal...in my experience, build quality is not that wonderful.
