I found a set (used) on ebay for £85!

Doubt they come up often, so so a search to favourites and you'll get an email whenever someone lists a set!

Watch out though cos most of the standard bulb sellers use the word 'HID' in their titles to get more hits!

In this case believe you get what you pay for...

All components in the one box (no separate ballast) - and waterproof, metal case.

Very pleased with them. Whichever you go for, the 6000K colour is the brightest white.

I know there are kits where there are 2 separate parts to the kit - the Pilot ones are enclosed in a single box.

Or did I dream this...???!!!

No, you were dreaming

The ignitor and ballast are 1 unit for all the HID conversions. The pilot ones are water proof, the cheaper ones are just water resistant.
